2009—2010 School Year
The Pawling Recreation Department runs an After School Club for Middle School Students throughout the school year. This program is staffed by a program supervisor over the age of 21, some college students and several high school students.
This is a great opportunity for kids to hang out with friends after school in a safe, fun, supervised atmosphere. Snack is provided. Games, crafts, activities and more are all available. For more information please call the Recreation Office at 855-1131.

After School Club Pass
Want to participate in the program but can’t make it every day?!
We have a pass available for $50 which is good for 20 visits to the After School Club. Come anytime that is convenient!
FRIDAY NIGHT JAM!
Bring your musical instruments to the Teen Building at Lakeside Park on Friday nights for open jam night with your friends. This program is open to boys and girls in grades 6 and up!

GUITAR LESSONS
Lessons will take place on THURSDAYS October 15—December 10 at the TEEN REC BUILDING, LAKESIDE PARK
Beginners from 6:15—7:15 pm. Intermediates from 7:30—8:30 pm.
LESSONS OPEN TO GRADES 5 & UP
Lessons will be in a group setting and will be taught by David Meyers a local guitarist with over 30 years of experience. David is proficient in acoustic, electric, bass and slide guitar. He has taught in other various locations and currently runs his own music program “RockOnMusicSchool” a Fun and Easy Way to Learn. He is a member of the National Music Teachers Association. We are very excited to welcome him to our Teen Center!
Beginners: Students will build self esteem by playing a simple rock rhythm the first day. They will learn about the guitar, finger positions for chords and how to experiment and play on their own. They will find how easy it is to play with others.
Intermediate: For those who already have the ability to play standard chords. Learn new skills while experiencing the joy of ‘Jamming’ with others. Learn song structures while sharing rhythm, bass and lead roles to modern and classic rock songs.
COST: 8 WEEK SESSION $70 members, $75 residents, $80 non-residents

RECREATION WRESTLING
Pawling Recreation will once again be offering a wrestling program for all students grades 4 and up! This program will be run by High School Wrestling Coach Joe Amuso.
Wrestling will take place Mondays starting October 19—November 23 6:30—8:00 at the LATHROP BUILDING, LAKESIDE PARK
Cost of class: $30/6 weeks
